You know how in the future we were all supposed to have flying cars?

Yeh.

I was off to Stokey the other day, the back way, there’s barely room for one vehicle to pass, and I thought, that would speed things up a bit. I looked at the old bangers all about to break down, there’s always someone runs out of petrol, they’d be falling out of the sky, landing on people, way to keep the population down eh?

What’s that got to do with broken keyboards?

Everything’s broke, nothing can be fixed, thank fuck we never invented flying cars.

Friday Fictioneers #33: a gigantic craft full of holes.

We’re past the extinction curve he said, resources are running out, Hubble’s peak is a reflection in the rearview mirror. For the species to survive people have to be wiped out, but nobody’s going to vote for euthanasia, for the party that tells people they can’t have kids. So we blame the poor for the banker’s excesses, maybe that way we can get the population down.

What’s that got to do with shopping carts?
